Located in Downsville, Wisconsin — close to Menomonie and Eau Claire...
This idyllic property overlooks the scenic Red Cedar River Valley in the west-central part of the state, just 10 miles south of I-94 on highway 25. The historic 1904 Downsville Cooperative Creamery building was completely rebuilt in 1984-85. The understated architectural renovation was instantly acclaimed throughout the Midwest, and remains a standard for country inns and rich hospitality.
Luxurious Studio Apartments & Guestrooms are now available to rent...
The Creamery Inn has four elegant studio apartments, each with their own kitchenettes. We also have a fifth guestroom, our largest, that has limited cooking facilities but not a full kitchenette. These rooms can be rented for short stays (2 nights minimum) as well as being available weekly or to lease on a month-to-month basis.
Rents are fully inclusive of all utilities. The building has loads of private parking which is located adjacent to the building. There is also a free-to-use shared laundry-room. At the moment there is also a guest lounge on the ground floor. The five apartments are all situated on the second floor.
Downsville is just 10 minutes south of Menomonie, which is home to the University of Wisconsin (Stout) Campus. It is a tiny hamlet with plenty of charm and tranquillity. There is hardly a more beautiful spot in all of rural Dunn County than that found on County Road 'C', where The Creamery Inn is located.
